Julie Fellows, current CEO and Founder of J.A. Fellows and Associates, is an independent corporate director, an advisor to boards and C-suites and a senior banking executive skilled in leading transformational change initiatives. She understands the challenges posed in today’s environment of escalating complexity and disruption and applies expertise in financial services and enterprise risk management practices, emerging technologies including Web3 blockchain technology, and cybersecurity to help innovative organizations capitalize on market opportunities.   Julie is a dynamic business leader and financial expert who advises, develops and implements strategies to maximize returns while managing risk in complex, global, shifting environments. Julie currently serves and has served on a number of Boards, and brings the highest level of integrity and a collaborative approach to helping organizations thrive. She is passionate about sharing her expertise to not only help companies grow financially, but also as corporate citizens and global leaders. 

Julie has more than 20 years of leadership experience as a trusted advisor to CEOs, executive management and boards of public and private companies, as well as global regulatory agencies on strategic matters and managing crises. Her skills and expertise make her invaluable to a company faced with the need to balance risk and reward.  She is a collaborative partner, who builds trust through compassion and open communication. Julie is a progressive visionary, who utilizes creative problem solving to identify opportunities for growth and multiple levels of success. 

Julie is certified in Emotional and Social Intelligence EQi 2.0, EQ 360, and Team EQi, and is an Emotional and Social Intelligence (TESI) Facilitator, helping leaders develop a conscious leadership approach.  Julie has benefited from both serving as a mentor to others, and in receiving mentorship from leaders.  She continues to actively participate in a professional women’s mentoring circle, and is a member of Denver’s Wise Women Counsel.  She is a graduate of the Leadership Ascent Program and the Leeds College of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder.   

Julie is the Cofounder and CEO of BankWyse, a Revolutionary Bank for the Digital Age.  She is also the Founder of J.A. Fellows and Associates, an executive consulting firm providing corporate directorship, strategy development, cybersecurity, credit and enterprise risk management services, and collaborative leadership programs.  Prior experience includes: Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at SquareTwo Financial Corporation where she successfully led the company through a transformational change initiative to address significant regulatory environment shifts. This followed nearly 15 years at KeyCorp, where she was Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management for Key Equipment Finance as well as Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management and Chief Compliance Officer for the global Key National Finance organization. In both positions Julie excelled at identifying and leading talent to maximize outcomes, and was responsible for proactively managing the portfolio of assets, problem credit workout, developing and implementing the enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance programs.  Prior to these positions, Julie held roles of increasing responsibility in the credit and capital markets group at Republic Financial Corporation, and began her career with the United States Treasury Department's Office of The Comptroller of the Currency as a National Bank Examiner.
